WHAT I LOVE ABOUT GLEE.

I know some people doesnt really like glee as much as I do. Like my cousins. They say its KORNI. But for me, its not.

First, what i love about GLEE is that from the Pilot until todays episode, there are lots of music. So people wont get bored  while watching the show unlike when youre watching some ordinary tv shows. Im not saying that all shows must be  musical. What im saying is that its boosts up the mood when the ambiance suddenly became really quiet. For example, when your sad, you listen to music right? It can make you feel better.

Second, the characters, i mean, that really happens in real like. The hierarchy in high school.. You can see that in a lot of movies. The quarter back always have the head cheerleader. Right? The popular kids bullies other kids. I mean that happens in real life. So people doesnt have to say that Glee promotes those things. Not that theyre pushing people to do these kind of things. What Im saying is that glee shows us and our parents what high school is like these day. The pregnant cheerleader, also that. How many kids today are now pregnant by the age of not exceeding 15? I dont know but im sure there are plenty of them, theyre also not promoting those kind of things. They only show people the reality of life. So that they can prevent it and take action as soon as possible.

Third, is its respect for the LGBT community, i know theyre being bullied in the school. Like KURT, but it only shows that no matter what you are, show it and you dont need to pretend to be someone just to fit in in the society, and also it look at kurt and his father’s relationship. Its shows that you dont need to please everybody as long as your family accepts you.. And you should not mind what other people say. Because some of them are just afraid to show what they really are they. I mean look at that kind of relationship. Kurt and his dad. You its really rare to have that kind of relationship because some dads are just too naive to accept the fact that their son is different. But his dad embraced him for what he really is because theyre a family. Right?

Also take a look at Artie.. Its Shows that whatever you are. You should not be ashamed. And god gave him that kind of situation but he got some really great voice! Right? I know at first, the football players made fun of him. But at the end. A football player also helped him. And people around him doesnt really see if he’s in the wheelchair.. They just look at Artie as a person not as a person with disability. And he showed us to not let anything stop you from dreaming. Like his dream of dancing. Its kinda imposible but he  showed us not to give up on our dreams.

And also Tina, she showed us not to be ashamed. And never change anything to urself just for the sake of other people. Like in the way she dresses. She’s looks really weird but she didnt mind it because that what makes TINA is. A goth girl. 

And so is Santana she’s not afraid to say anything because she’s just being honest.  Thats what i love about her. She doesnt let her feelings go through her comments. And I know its a little weird that she made out with every single person inside the school but that happens right? And i know she’s still afraid to show what she really is right now. But in the show she’s slowly reveals herself to other people. It shows that people should not rush things. And everything takes time. She’s also very protective towards the people that she loves. Which is very sweet even if she has a tough  personality. It shows that just because people are bad towards you. That doesnt mean theyre bad at all. They also has a soft side. 

Brittany, she’s really stupid but still she does things that makes people smile. And in the show. Shes beggining to be change. Like at first she thought the leprechauns are real. But in the end she finally realized that its not. She showed that people can be really dumb sometimes but she diddnt let it get through her way of being a head of something. When she run to be the senior class president. She showed that not all leader must be smart. That anybody can be a president even the dumbest person alive can be.

Also amber. She’s a closeted diva as they say. Have a bve

There’s puck. In the pilot he seemed to be a really badass student but as time goes by he learned how to care about people. First with artie. I think he did help Artie not because he needs it. But because he really wants to. He did made out with a lot of girls but he’s really soft when it comes to quinn and beth. Which is very sweet. He really did care about his friends so much, the time when rachel was made fun by the vocal adrenaline, he seemed to be the one who’s really pissed off about what they did to his friend. And also when it comes to love he doesnt really care about the physical apperance like with lauren, he doesnt care about what other people thinks about their relationship.. And i really like it because it only shows that people shouldnt only base on the physical appearance. Beth, he really cares about his daughter, like if only he could take her back he will. Unlike those other teenage dad who just get someone pregnant and leave them behind. He showed to be responsible on your doings.

Then there’s Finn, he’s one of the people who also hides behind his status and his football uniform. He showed us how to stand up to what we really want to. Because even if he knows that joining the glee club would hurt his status inside the campus, he didnt mind it because he loves what he was doing and he doesnt care about what other people will say. Sometimes he’s really bad towards the homosexuals but at the end he really did give respect to them. You can also see that he really cares about his family specially his mom because all his action, he always thinks about his mom. And also the time when kurt’s father had a stroke, even if theyre not related by blood, he did care for the old man. And there was also a time when he forgives the people around him. With puck at first. He showed that friendship comes first. And also i love his character because despite the fact that rachel is a bit annoying sometimes, he accepted that and loved her with all his heart and he is not ashamed of that.

There’s also Quinn. She’s a very mean girl. One who hides behind her cheerio uniform and bullies other people. But she’s so much more than that. She showed us that drinking is really bad for our age. Because it can lead to something like that. She’s very pretty ofcourse. She also showed us that some people do things that they really didnt want to do. That they do it because its for that best. Like her being a cheerio because she know itll make her popular. But sometimes it doesnt really make her happy. She also showed us to be strong no matter what life brings us and to accept all the consequences made by your actions and doings. It also showed us that her family is not really happy on her pregnancy. Some family are just like that. So she’s telling us to be careful with our actions because some family will not tolerate those kind of things. And she’s very mean at first but iin the end she did learn how to be nice and to be kind to other people. 

And then there’s Rachel, she’s a very ambitious and self centered person. But she showed us to not give up on our dreams and you do not need to changed just to fit in the society. And that she showed us that someone needs to be a leader. She’s slowly changing from 1st to 3rd season. She learned how not to only look at yourself but also to look at other people. That not all things revolve around you. Like the time when Santana got the solo. She’s very mad at first but she did accept the fact that its not always her and that people also have talents not just her. And she did show us to love ourselves. Like in the born this way episode, despite the fact that her nose looks ugly, she didnt change it. And she showed us to be confident and to walk with our heads high even if people look down on you and not to let them get to your way. 

Glee showed us a lot of things. Because even if they came from different cliques and have different attitude. They have learned to accept each other and loved each other, and even if theyve had a lots of misunderstanding, they learned to forgive each other. They stand for each other and treat everyone as their family. Even if they know that joining the glee club will made them a laughing stock at their school, they didnt give up and quit because all of them love what they are doing.

Thats the kind of people should exist right now. Those people who are not afraid to express! 

All i know is that glee changed my life in many great ways! And i will be a forever gleek :)
